At Cotton Bird, we are aware of the necessity for a firm like ours to switch to new consumption alternatives.
The sustainable development worldwide requires us to come up with new economical models, more respectful of the Earth, and of human beings. Especially for a paper industry company such as Cotton Bird.
That is why, these last few years, we have multiplied our CSR actions and intend to keep going that way in order to have a positive impact on the world around us.

🌿 A sustainable paper policy
|

| All the paper we use comes from sustainably managed forests: the wood fibers it contains are sourced from forests managed in a sustainable way, with respect for the local flora and fauna, water, soil, and communities. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Our papers are also ECF (“elementary chlorine free”) or TCF (“totally chlorine free”) labelled: they have been bleached without using any basic chlorine, which generates gaseous residue and toxic dioxins for mankind and aquatic life. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| We also offer stationery made out of 100% recycled fibres, with the ambition of enlarging this ecological alternative to our entire catalogue in the next few years. |

|
|
|
|
🌿 “Greener” ink for the Planet
|
| In order to print your orders, our workshop only uses certified, compostable and biodegradable inks. Organic waste coming from our factory is thus drastically reduced. |
|
|
|
|
🌿 100% recyclable packaging
|
| That’s it: your orders are delivered in 100% recycled material-made packages. We are trying to reduce the amount of packaging as much as possible, in order to preserve your products during shipping… as well as the planet! |

🌿 “CO2 neutral” labelled machinery
|
| Our machinery stock has received the CO2 neutral certification: a label granted to companies that have defined a viable CO2 reduction strategy. |

|
🌿 A BtoB committed stationery
|
| Members of the associaton 1% for the Planet (via our brand Vœux Créatifs, addressed to other companies), we donate each year 1% of our annual sales to non-profit organizations whose actions are in favour on populations and the environment. |

🌿 A stationery made in France
|
| From the creation of the designs by our illustrators, to the printing and shipping of your orders, we are proud to be producing a stationery that is 100% made in Europe. Our website development is also handled by our French teams. |

🌿 A local footing that is a job maker
|
| We are proud to be counted amongst the companies that generate jobs in our beautiful country, proud to contribute to the dynamism of the Occitany and Hauts-de-France regions: today, Cotton Bird employs around a hundred collaborators in Saleilles, Perpignan, Lille and Paris. Employees with very different backgrounds, who share the same values, represent the wealth of our company and are all actors of this collective initiative. |
