7. What Activities for a Knight Birthday Party?
To delight children (and parents!) on the big day, here are some must-have activities for a knight birthday theme.
A Quest: Save the Princess!
The children embark on an epic quest to save the imprisoned princess together. This activity can be imagined in various ways: a treasure hunt in the garden, where you plant clues (scarf, small shoe...) to find the princess's trail; a series of riddles to solve, with rebuses, spot-the-difference games; or even a mix of activities to rack your brains... and move around, with catapult throwing, ring toss, a sword duel (made of cardboard, of course!).
Manual and DIY Activities
For a quieter birthday party, offer some manual and DIY activities to your little guests. Here are some ideas, which of course can be adapted according to the age of the children:
- - Building the castle of their dreams! Armed with colored pencils, markers, paints, chalk, the children can illustrate their dream home on paper. If you prefer to see things big, why not take a cardboard box and let the children build, with your help of course, a life-size castle?
- - Thematic coloring with illustrations of princesses, dragons, knights, swords, and other objects in the same tone.
- - A calligraphy workshop to write their names with beautiful pens and lettering. Creating the perfect knight's kit: cutting out, illustrating, coloring crowns in cardstock, swords, and shields.
